Servicing the Global Water Resources Industry Brochure
Marwin Valve has created a new brochure geared specifically toward the water resources market.
Marwin Valve ANSI flanged and WOG rated ball valves are excellent choices for chemical feed systems, water treatment and plant-wide utility applications. THey consistently deliver reliable performance at the lowest total cost of ownership possible. Compact, lightweight design and maintenance ease are added benefits. Where safety is of critical concern, Marwin Valve is the solution.
Chemical Feed Systems
- Coagulants and flocculants (alum, ferric chloride)
- Disinfectants (chlorine)
- pH control (lime, caustic soda, sulfuric acid)
- Taste and odor control (activated carbon)
- Corrosion control (caustic soda)
- Fluoridation (hydrofluorosilicic acid)
- Softening (lime, caustic soda)
Marwin Valve offers a broad range of body and trim materials to most cost effectively match the application. Standard materials include brass, carbon steel and stainless steel. Exotic materials are available where service conditions dictate greater resistance to general corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion.
For chemical feed systems, Marwin Valve recommends the following materials for use with the indicated chemicals:
- 316 stainless steel: alum, ammonia, chlorine, ferric chloride, dry polymer, liquid polymer, ozone/UV systems, sodium hydroxide (caustic soda)
- Alloy 20: sulfuric acid
- Hastelloy C-276: Fluorosilicic acid, sodium hypochlorite
Specifically configured and trimmed valves are available for ammonia, chlorine and other difficult services.
